I Don't Care

I don't care that some captain was saved from pirates.

I don't care that the Obama's have a dog and that its name is Bo.

I do care, though, who is going to get kicked off of tonight's episode of "I Love Money 2".

Nationals Park is Where I Call Home

Well, DC, you gave developing Southeast and Southwest along Maine Avenue a shot (if you want to call this area Anacostia, you can), but lack of interest and a weak economy have stifled your efforts.

The Washington Post has this article on the disappointing growth for the area around Nationals Park.

I don't really have much to comment on it because I'm not surprised. There just isn't enough to draw people to the area when there isn't a Nationals game, so why would someone building a store there. Even the liquor store went bust a while back...or did it just get robbed to many times. Heh, why cross hairs.

Happy Easter

I may not be able to post over the weekend, so I want to wish everyone a Happy Easter. It's not every day you celebrate someone rising from the dead...especially if you aren't Christian.

Creepy, eh? The Easter Bunny just never could compete with Santa Claus.

Wanna get loaded

I really want to get bombed out of my mind. Doesn't look like it is going to happen though.

I might be doing a 180

After reading a few DC blogs on Kal Penn's new job working for the Obama Administration, I realized that I might someday run into him...especially if he likes the gay bars.

This ignites in me my obsessive fantasy with meeting celebrities and being their best friend.

So could Kal and I be best friends even though I think he's a hack?

I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Is Eminem Singing in his new song??

Don't get me wrong, I like Eminem. I love that he makes fun of celebrities in his video (Jessica Simpson deserves everything she gets). The video made me nostalgic for the days when he first came on the scene and could destroy someone's career by not giving a High Five (ahem, Fred Durst). It's just not the same though. He's still cool in my book, just maybe not the coolest.

Why do I say this? Mainly its that he sings in the song. And not just a little bit, but the entire chorus with the female vocalist. Also, the rap is kind of lame. Too much time has passed and he's trying to rehash what he was all about 5 years ago. I won't write him off quite just yet though.

Ugh, Kal Penn is in the news

I hate Kal Penn, if you didn't know. I believe I expressed this sentiment back in November 2007 . He's a serious actor who wants to end stereotypes of Indians. That's why he starred in the two Van Wilder movies and the one from the image above that I've never heard of. To his credit though, he did do a guest stop in Angel when he was a nobody.

So now the Obama Administration (which can still do no wrong in my book) has made him some liaison for culture or whatever. I honestly couldn't even care to listen or read the news reports on what he is doing that is how much I loathe Kal Penn.

Whatever, someday I will be proven correctly and his career will bottom out.

**Update** 11:35 PM

I was happy to hear Kal Penn's character committed suicide in last night's episode of House. I wish I still watched that show, but I stopped because I hated his character. Oh well.

Melrose Place

I'm very happy to hear that Melrose Place might be making a comeback to television.

And apparently, Laura Leighton is returning as the character Sydney Andrews Mancini Field and Thomas Calabro is returning as Dr. Michael Mancini. This is all just too much to take.

Did you know that I use to have a website dedicated to Melrose Place before the era of blogs?? Shhhh, don't tell anyone.

Here's a neat little video from YouTube titled Hi and Bye Sydney!! but en espanol.

New T-shirt Ideas

I have some new T-shirt ideas and they follow the same premise.

I'm Too Cool for Twitter

I'm Too Cool to Blog

I'm Too Cool for Facebook

It could be a whole series and for each new catchy thing that the general public is fawning over will be inserted after the cool part.

Genius!

That's copyright 2009, btw.

I'm a Blogger Again...for now

I'm going to start to blog again. This is because my friend Princess has a blog, Bitchy and Bitter.
